Horizon Family Solutions Welcomes Julie Forland, M.Ed. as Educational Consultant for International and US Based Families and Students

Horizon Family Solutions is pleased to announce its recent hire of Julie Forland, M.Ed., who has joined the HFS team as an International and US Educational Consultant based out of the firm’s Boulder, Colorado office.

[Boulder, Colorado]— March 25, 2017Within the Educational Consulting role at Horizon Family Solutions (www.horizonfamilysolutions.com), Forland will also be developing online classes for families and parents, as well as working in the development of future training programs for families and professionals.

“I was attracted by the company’s mission to build substantial and sustainable services for families and the commitment that Doré has to providing a vast array of services to families across the globe,” Forland said. “I believe that teaching families how to apply sustainability principles to their parenting skills, their lives, and even their extended family is the best multiplier to truly creating change.”

Forland comes to HFS with more than 20 years experience in education. Most recently she has worked as a student advocate, teacher, and school principle in the State of Colorado.

Forland has vast experience with the charter, online, private, and public schools in grades K – 12 and will be focusing on those families who are in search of boarding schools and special needs therapeutic residential programs, both in the United States and Internationally.

Forland’s focus is on placing the right student in the right educational setting. Her background has helped to make an easy transition into her current position as Educational Consultant with Horizon Family Solutions.

Doré Frances, PhD, founder of Horizon Family Solutions said, “Julie intends to apply her BA in Liberal Arts/Elementary Education and her MA in Educational Administration Education to developing additional educational consulting services that will help families and students who are searching for boarding school placement or for those who are in crisis, change their current situation to one of complete support.”
